Rich, moist soil from this southernmost region of India produces a clean, light spearmint flavor with an intense aroma. Our spearmint is harvested early morning, once the dew has left the plant, to ensure the preservation of essential oils at their highest concentrations. Gunpowder Green Tea is named for the shape of its leaves. To craft the highest quality gunpowder tea, our tea-makers wither, steam, roll, and dry individual tea leaves tightly rolled into tiny pellets that when steeped unfurl into long, luscious leaves.
